Actually it isn't. Sick people walking around with an improper face mask, or incorrectly worn are MORE dangerous than a person without one.
If you wear a mask that is 10% efficient, you have a 90% chance of passing germs to the person next to you who *thinks* they are 100% safe because you have a mask on. Wear one with a vent? you are protected (maybe), but everyone around you isn't from your germs. Wear one not sealed 100% around your face and nose? Not safe. Wear one with your nose hanging out?
Guess what? The nasal cavity is what they swab for the test. The virus gets broken down by saliva.
Touch something infected and then adjust your mask? Uh oh, germs on your mask now. Pinch the top to pull it up? Germs on the inside...
What about wearing a mask for 8 hours that irritates your skin and causes infections?
Are you beginning to see how foolish this is?

Really easy to say that when you have not lost anyone to it hunh? And I am not singling you out. Just the statement so please take no offense. First off, sorry for your loss. I understand that pain. Lost my paternal grandparents to cancer. Never really knew them. Lost my maternal grandfather to cancer also. My grandmother to heart disease. A cousin to diabetes. And on and on.
Here is a fact, you CAN NOT prevent people from getting this. EVERYONE who comes in contact with others will eventually get it.
Heart disease is preventable. Catching a virus is not. There is no way to stop it. We can only *semi-control* influenza.

And currently, you still have only a .3% chance of dying. That is comparable to a bad flu season. That is the science.
As a comparison, you have a .7% chance of falling and dying and a .74% chance of dying in an automobile accident (driver/passenger/pedestrian, anything to do with a car).

I hope no one gets it either. There is a 1% chance of being listed as "serious/critical". That means a 99% chance of mild or no symptoms.

As far as politics, this has NOTHING to do with politics for me. This is straight logic, statistics and science. A 99.7% chance of survival.

Also, let me address the propaganda video...
It CLEARLY says in the video that "Hart Island has been used to bury New Yorkers with no known next of kin since the 19th century".
No where does it say all those bodies are from COVID. No where does it say how many they buried. No where does it say that ANY of those people had COVID.
They could of died from old age and had no know relatives to take the body. They could of been killed by the CIA for all we know.
A bunch of tragic video with a hefty dose of innuendos to stir up your emotions. NOT science....
