Really easy to say that when you have not lost anyone to it hunh? And I am not singling you out. Just the statement so please take no offense. I have seen the devastating effects this has on healthy people with absolutely no underlying conditions.....Yep. I have lost 2 family members and a close friend to it. And the neighbor 3 houses down is about to lose the father of 2 and soul bread winner of the family because he has it and is not expected to make it. So for anyone to make that blanket statement or the one "the flu kills more" is just plain ignorant. They just do not know better. but like every single one that I personally know that ends up getting it or their family gets it says.....I thought it was a joke. Or , I wish I would have taken it more seriously. Why wait until you lose someone to take it serious? just look at anyone in your household and ask yourself seriously. How would I feel if I lost them due to this?

Am I oblivious to the fact that this has been politicized? Absolutely not. but it is on both sides of the fence. All you have to do is check the news reports from other countries to see how the world is doing.

Whether anyone here believes or even cares about the truth is ok....I still pray you never get it. I have seen what it does

Oranges.

One's a virus you can catch from another person, one's a condition you develop from inactivity and overeating.

Though I get your point.
