I stand corrected, I thought I use to hear horror stories about medicare, not at the level of the VA, but still not the best.

In theory public education is a good idea, but like all bureaucracies waste and poor performance are rampant.
In Philadelphia each student costs over $15,000/yr to educate and they fail standardized testing year after year.
Imagine the real education that could be had for that price in the private sector.
Many years ago the government told us to recycle to save the environment, now we have plastic islands of trash floating in the oceans.
If our healthcare were in the hands of government......
