You are really positive of your aiming ability in a tense situation then.

If I have to pull the trigger on an intruder/attacker, first round is going to be center mass. The torso virtually always the biggest target. Easiest to acquire in a tense situation. Head shots are too tricky. Sometimes it looks like a through and through shot and all it has done is enter under the skin, travel around the outside of the skull, and exit on the other side.

But if you can calmly acquire and hit an attacker's kneecap in a hostile situation, while he is moving on spindly little crackhead legs, kudos to you.

Shotguns can be less lethal. rubber shot Stinger rounds had been approved for public sale last time I checked. I haven't actually bought any.

Maybe they'll make the beanbag round legal.

There's always 9 or 7 1/2 birdshot...but you might wanna' back that up with some 00 buck in case birdshot just pisses them off.

Load some shells with rocksalt? Man that would burn like a bitch!.
