Thanks, yes it is unfortunate that I do not qualify for the new, fancy, through the groin valve replacement. Been down that path and because of my birth defect on my heart, bicuspid, I don't get the fancy replacement. I am looking forward the eventual procedure and recovering. It was not a surprise, as my dr's have been watching my condition for the past 12 years. It's much easier, I think, to deal with since I knew it was coming and not a shock and emergency procedure. but overall...doing okay in life and moving along!! I love this forum and the people that post here.!
