Yeah.. I do that too.. but I DO let off the gas. Probably killing the Edge's transaxle and Christine's trans.
Probably a good thing though, I'll probably do a 5.4 iron block swap and 5spd conversion down the line. She's getting up there in age and will be ready for a new trans in 20K miles or so. (Just order harness parts, column, and console for a 5spd Explorer Sport along with a yarded trans and 5.4 IB off some derp-derps wrecked Lightning).
