I think the 80s era might be the Camaro’s peak. Everybody loved those cars, and thanks to some of what I think is the best GM advertising in the company’s history (certainly exponentially better than today), The Heartbeat Of America ad campaign - especially for the Camaro - drove people to dealers to look at these cars.
On a side note, since the BMVs have been closed and just opened, and my temp tag is good till Aug 29th, I’ve been trying to figure out how to condense “Heartbeat of America” into a license plate format of 7 letters. Any ideas?
