Part of it is me getting older & just not feeling up to doing some of those things like & used to. Part of it is the fact that the new V6's render it not competitive on the track combined with me feeling my skills declining & as well as my ability to take the heat that comes with many race days. I can't stand the thought of selling it to someone who would not appreciate her history or take care of her like I have. And it is getting to be quite old now; still low mileage (nearing 40K) and runs like a dream. It has not had the timing chain done yet & no signs at all it is needed. It has never used a drop of oil & has always run great even much faster than it should have been bone stock. But........
Anyway, just wondering if other 5th gen V6 folks are feeling the same way.

Ruby,
I still love mine and have been doing a lot of mods that will help with the next project, which is currently in preparations to completely strip her down and put a LS3/TR6060 in the nearish future. Going to take a wrecked 2013 2SS apart and putting all of the necessary things out of it into my 2LT. Getting a metal garage erected next to my current garage right now so I can drag to 2SS in there to get it started. I did in the not so distant past think about trading her in for a 2018 2SS/1LE but after the offer they gave me for my car I balked, and decided to go this route instead. Mine has 143K on her now so I did understand their low offer, but she still looks awesome and runs like a top. But I think this is the best way to go for my car, and going to be a hard, fun project for sure.
