My 98 Regal GS gets 25-26 in combined mileage. Not bad for a car with 217K miles and that 3.8L supercharged engine. The only downside is I have to use premium. The regular Regal, or the Grand Prix GT or Monte Carlo, should do better and only use regular.

I had a Saturn SC2 that got me 34MPG and the beater 2000 Cavalier I had got about the same. A used Cobalt should return over 30MP, especially with a stick.
