Not terrified here...not hiding in the basement either....don't recommend anyone else do that unless you're in one of the high risk categories. I've been to the grocery for normal purchases, picked up prescriptions, hit several local restaurants and got carryout (keep your local restaurants and others in business with carryout when you can, folks), taken the dog different places for extended walks.
Along with the inability to be "in the shop" (my classroom) teaching my kids (many of whom aren't the best and brightest) how to use machines and equipment to hopefully help make them employable upon graduation, the biggest personal issue that sucks for me is the fact that I can't go visit my 87 year old mother who is in an assisted living facility for Alzheimers....I worry daily that by the time the "all clear" is given, she will have slipped to the point she no longer remembers who I am.
Here's hoping things take a rapid turn for the better for ALL of us.
