Ok, this girl and I are good friends and went out for a while and her stepdad is a real douche. He is also the janitor at our school... additional info: Past threats are kind of like if i ever see him touch you i will brake his (my) hand... Like I said he has never directly threatened me but he is always telling her little things that he'd do to me.

Secondly, if the threat was not made directly to you, you have no grounds.

Reason?

The elements of a threat..fear/ Fear can not be presumed through hearsay. Your GF telling you dad was going to do "X" to your car and "Z" to you is not sufficient to file charges. Unless that is, your GF will swear of "affirm" what she told you (fathers threats) are true.

You can make an informational report if your local dept. will allow it.
