The powers exist to declare such things in just about every city, state and the federal government....and have for years.
Trump claimed this was all a "hoax"...now he's declared a national emergency....which is it?
At the beginning of the month, there were 70 known US cases....as of this post 15 days later, there are almost 3200. Those are KNOWN cases, and we've tested fewer people that Taiwan.
Save your "false claim" about COVID-19 comment and let's revisit it for two weeks. I'll be happy to eat crow.
