During my Marine Corps career I was stationed at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego twice (1974-1975 then again 1986-1989. Lived in Santee than moved to Pacific beach. Another time I was stationed at El Toro when with VMA-214 )1978-1979. Miss the great times at San Diego, especially when wanting to do modifications on the cars. If you can dream about it you can get it make it happen in southern California! That said I would not want to pay the gas prices today!

Also, you cannot get anything done legally and every two years you have to pass smog! even cold air intake will make you afail.
