About the torque, like most EVs (and probably most electric motors in general) the figure quoted is going to be what comes out after going through a reduction gearset. Its deceptive, but its somehow standard practice.


As for the price, I don't recall Hummers being all that affordable to begin with, so I doubt EV pricing is going to hurt it much.

Agreed. But, if we could somehow erase all our current knowledge of what 'Hummer' stands for ... it is objectively a pretty good name for an EV brand. Hearing an electric hum usually implies that you are in the presence of a lot of power ... not a bad association for a premium vehicle brand.
