I need to remove engine L99 from my Camaro 2012 SS and going to take engine up. Therefore I need to separate engine from automatic transmission. I have been told to remove the torque converter bolts and push back the converter a bit to disconnect from crank shaft. After that I can remove the bolts that connect the transmission to the engine.
I have removed 3 torque converter bolts but can't push back the converter at all. Is there more bolts to remove or have I missed anything?
