I have the AWE Touring Non-Resonated, and it is loud.
However, I like loud and it's loudness will be present at start up of course, and when you step on it.
When cruising it is not that bad, maybe a tad louder than OEM...or I'm used to it!
I do however, have long tubes and 2nd cat delete.
When I go WOT it has a lot more rasp, so if you do not like the raspy sound, AWE may not be the way to go...or at least get it resonated, which helps with less rasp.
My co-worker who owns a 15' Mustang GT Prem. wanted to hear it, and asked me to step on it while parked. He was surprised and said "it sounds Angry, like it wants to eat a Mustang"...I humbly said that is possible.
My other co-worker who owns a Challenger SCAT Pack and has the Borla Atak on it was also surprised and said it sounds like his however, another person said no, no...this one is much louder than your Borla.
