Its his right to say no wether you agree with his position or not.

This is America and he should be free to express his position and moral values, even if you think they are messed up. This is not Russia.

That's what makes this a free country.


Now my sister and her bo were were also told no when they asked to get married.

The priest is making them wait 6 months, he will not marry anyone right away, you must wait 6 months after you ask or he won't do it.

No real difference, his values are that no one should get married right away, and right or wrong, he has the right to say "no I won't do it."

Even when other family members went to put pressure on him through to catholic system, he still refused to do it any sooner. And so the wedding is in Jan 2010, insted of Nov 2009.
