I had an employee like that while I was a supervisor at the pizza place I used to work at.
Her first day I introduced myself (since I was her supervisor) and gave her the walkthrough of the building and how things ran.
Then I went and wrote the break schedule for the night and told everybody when their breaks would be.
Came time for her break, and it was slow so she was standing by the oven with some of the other employees chatting (which I don't mind as all as long as there's no work to be doing - keep everything reasonably clean and the orders caught up, and I don't care). I reminded her that it was time for her to go on break.
"I don't want to go on break now."
"I told you earlier that this would be when your break was."
"I don't care - I don't want to go on break now."
"Thats fine with me, but I can't give you a break later, so you'll just have to go without."
"Fine, I'll go now."
She quit a few days later.
No loss really, she was a terrible employee (and not just because she was mouthy and rude).
