And how do you use the Camaro?
As noted in my previous post, I just replaced a 2003 Mini 5-speed with a 2015 Mini Cooper 6-speed as a daily driver commuter. I also have a 2011 Kawasaki Z1000.
I have a 6 mile non-highway commute 25 to 35 mph speed limit with 19 traffic lights along the way. I commute to work with either the Mini or the bike. I rode the bike to work this year about 30 times, the rest was either my old Mini or this new one.
The 1LE would be totally wasted on that commute so it stays garaged when I go to work. I drive it weekends and occasionally at night in nice weather. I take it to an HPDE road course track day once a year - so far it has been to Lime Rock and Palmer Motorsports - next year Watkins Glen. In total I put 2500 miles a year on the Camaro, and store it under a cover from Thanksgiving to April.
Sometimes I think it's kind of a waste to not drive it more, but the good side is that it feels super special each time it does come out, and I still love it more than any car I've ever owned.
