The eight-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) was Co-developed with Tremec. It is the best of both worlds and for you hard core manual gearbox guys out there, just think of it as an electronically controlled manual because that's what it is. The new DCT is the primary reason GM is able to get a 0-60 time of 3 seconds with a 490 HP small block.
