This ^ I am sure the C8 is going to steal quite a few sales in its first year and I totally understand why. There are still plenty of people with enough money that will still buy GT500s, RedEye Challengers, ZLE Camaros bc they either have more HP, more seats and some people just aren't Corvette people.

I can't make you hate anything, that is up to you. But the GT500 will not stomp the C8, where does it say that. I know both manufacturers have 0-60 times and the C8 is faster. So how can a slower car beat a faster car?

I think the GT500 will be faster in the 1/4 than the C8. the C8 might get to 60 faster but I think the GT500s extra HP will pull it ahead.
Road course probably a different story
