haven't the European supercar crowd looked down at Corvettes? Its always been that way, and it won't change as long as they see the Corvette as a cheap American car build by yokels. And since its affordability and 'Murica-ness are keys to its identity (being built by 'yokels' ... less so, but thats more a PR issue than anything based in reality), I can't see it ever changing.
