The controls for the passenger aren't as far away as the right dash vent as in the C7, but they are at the very bottom/back of the row, as far from the driver's controls as possible. So the controls you'd use most often are as close to the wheel as possible while probably being higher than in most cars (so you don't have to look as far away to see and use them) while the other controls are in the middle - but probably very rarely used since it's got automatic climate control, I know I rarely touch anything but those first four functions in my SS. I like it. Wheel looks good too, especially now in the context of the rest of the cockpit.
