No what I'm saying is that things are subject to change without notice until they are locked down. So I think it's perfectly reasonable that somebody at GM is talking about this right now, it's reasonable that someone else is arguing the other side too though.
I will say though that FWDs have improved tremendously though in the last 5 years so I don't doubt you could make a fast as hell vehicle FWD. Someone said it could be 200-300lbs lighter, I'd actually bet you could go 500lbs lighter (3300-3400lbs) and keep the same interior dimensions. |
Something else to consider.
Aren't FWD cars all required to have at least one performance Decal installed on them? I mean the low cost performance gains from Decal Boost alone make the FWD Camaro extremely viable.
