I had sort of the opposite feeling when I got my SS, couldn't help but think "this thing should be faster", at least on the street. Just because of the noise it makes, the large size of it, the strong style, etc. Has a lot of bark, I want it to bite just as hard.

On the track (road course) power is just fine but I wanted more grip, more brakes, better gear ratios, and less weight haha. Not asking for much right?

Number of cylinders just doesn't matter in my world so all this V8 V6 I4 nonsense is just dumb hot air to me. Being an average track day driver can keep you very humble.
We drove a few v8 gen 5 v8 Camaros before we bought this and I thought they are very quick cars. The biggest reason I chose the v6 was the regular fuel and it was fun to drive. I never realized it was this quick until after we bought it driving it for a week or so. The TA was lazy getting going because of the 4 speed auto trans, once it was moving it was quick. I'm sure if the TA had the 6 speed auto the v6 Camaro has you wouldn't be reading my postings.
