Another newbie here...picked up my 2019 shadow grey M6 1SS on 2/12. So just over a month ago the new car bug hit me hard. Which is kinda wierd because I had been driving a 05 GTO for 12 years which I loved and have always told everyone I was going to drive that car until the wheels fell off...and I would never buy a brand new car. Well I broke both of my rules at the same time. I had a 97 Z28 before the GTO and have always been a GM guy and for no apparent reason I started looking at newer Camaros on line. I was originally looking at 1-2 year old cars which is what I usually buy but just for the heck of it I went to Chevrolet.com to see what a new SS would cost when optioned the way I would want the car. I found that it was a bit less than I had anticipated and a new one was within reach. Then I found the car I am now driving and it was almost exactly what I would have ordered. I thought I wanted black, my last two cars were black but I saw this car and loved it. So just like that on a whim I put the GTO up for sale and it sold in less than two weeks. Fast forward a month or so and I am loving the car and having fun getting used to driving it. Completely different than the GTO, this car goes around corners. Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from this site and I am looking forward to enjoying this car for many years to come.
