I was going to say the same thing.
The Firebird was a great looking vehicle, but in today's market GM would be foolish to put out two coupes that competed directly with one another.
Not to mention having to split resources to differentiate the Firebird from the Camaro.
I'd rather they just have a "great" Camaro rather than a "really good" Camaro and Firebird.
The Phoenix may rise from it's ashes some day (using this idea for a Camaro commercial would be nice actually), but it shouldn't be now.
