The other night about 10:30pm a young woman coming down the avenue directly across from my house fell asleep at the wheel. Me and my wife heard the impact, she ran over and pulled her out the car as it started smoking (she is a nurse so instinct kicked in). Luckily after 25 minutes (which is F'n ridiculous when they are located on the same block) the EMS came and she was taken to hospital. Injuries not certain but not life threatening. She was conscious and not showing any external injuries. Thought i would share as it was one bad wreck. She had to be doing about IMO 40mph....
