124 problems per 100 vehicles doesn't mean 124% of them have problems. Just that each car has 1.24 deficiencies per vehicle on average, but I'm sure that could include minor problems like some plastic molding that wasn't set properly.

Exactly! So it's not to say that out of every 100 vehicles 88 of them will fail or something...I'm going to go ahead and guess that
over time, of all the vehicles that came from that plant - a certain # of them had some sort of "minor deficiency".
JD Power and the Industry Standards, have shrunken this to 88/100. Easier to the Eyes...
