No they run about the same times. I ran a 99 trans am with lid and exhaust at beech bend when I had 100 miles on mine and ran a
13.8@103 to his 14.0. Other forum members have been as fast as 13.5 in their stock V6's. Right there with 4th gen Fbodys and not too too far off 5th gen SS automatics running low 13's.
