I will retire a second time in the next 8 months, I can do it in two weeks. I'll get another job, just because I don't see how anybody can afford to retire. On a good note, both of my college age kids have gotten full ride scholarships (and trust me there is a HUGE tax penalty there including losing the college tax credit).

My wife is much younger than me and will work another dunno, 30 years. Now that is a retirement...

Looking for a cushy federal job in central Texas, so while my health holds out, I will be double and then triple dipping, combined with a modest life style means the Oldlady will be able to keep young boy friends in vettes for the foreseeable future...

I don't plan on taking SSI till 70 when I'll have to take it, I never figured I'd get it anyway, but at my income level it will be close to the max which I think right now is 2770 / month. Just never entered into my mind on the jobs I worked, sure I moaned about the deduction... but man, if I get it, I'll waste it on women, cars and booze. Now that is supplemental.

All my retirements are setup for the Oldlady to get the FULL benefit after I drink the Koolaid that I thought kinda of smelled like anti-freeze.. Heck the new GM stuff looks like OJ.
