What's more is the he didn't show any of the methods that this survey was done with. Those methods and the questions themselves could be as highly questionable as the author. But, maybe they aren't.

It could very well be that the lower educational level of domestic buyers is due to other demographic circumstances, although this possibility is never explored. These people (and let's leave ourselves, as enthusiasts, out of it) could very well be doing the hard day to day work that our manufacturing, farming and most other industries are built on. They may have never had the money or chance at higher education.

As for higher education being the pathway to all knowledge, I'll just say that I've met way to many educated idiots to believe that.

The study may have been valid, the author's skew of it certainly is not. It was just another chance for a hack to prop himself and his viewpoint up.


How Yahoo's editorial staff let it thru is beyond me. Says alot about them as a corporation.
