I know what it involves...fingerprints and very comprehensive...shows all of your arrests and convictions and it's ran thru the NCIC which is national. A regular background checks only shows your convictions and is usually local or limited to your state..some local/statewide will leave out minor misdemeanors and traffic violations. FBI brings up everything
