The Ryan Fitzpatrick Curse
Case file: Cincinnati, 2008. Quarterback Carson Palmer, who had started 51 consecutive games, mysteriously came down with sore elbow. A little strange, but nothing that set off alarms. Not yet, anyway.
2009: this time the scene was Buffalo. Starting quarterback Trent Edwards got a bump on the head.
There was Tennessee in 2013. Two men came out of nowhere to nearly break the leg of Jake Locker. A few weeks later, Locker's luck got worse when he was the victim of a foot injury.
Next: 2014 in Houston. Quarterback Ryan Mallett tore his shoulder.
New York City, 2015. Jets quarterback Geno Smith was punched in the face, suffering a broken jaw.
2017, Jamais Winston injures his Shoulder, misses 4 Games
