I'm in the market for a used diesel. Anywhere from $30k - $40k

I'll be towing a pretty big boat every now and then and estimate that it will be roughly 10k pounds. Figured why not get a diesel and make it easier.

That being said, not sure what to do.

I love the Duramax, best sounding diesel in my opinion, but you can't discount the Scorpion 6.7 Powerstroke.

So... in a dilemma here, I don't like the CP4 (fuel injector?) problem that the LML diesels are known to have, and so far with the powerstroke, people complain that the turbos can get too hot and self destruct (yikes).

Don't know what to do? Can anyone offer any insight?

Or should I just get myself a gasser and call it a day?
