Haha, I read a thread at the ls2forums about a guy whose GTO was modded into the 500-600 hp range or something and some kid at the service shop ended up wrecking it.
But yeah, youtube discussions always end up going off on tangents i.e. reaction time...the bottom line is GM wins again.
