Paparazzi and groupies are coming.... fan clubs and my own TV show are probably next... my ship finally came in!
Here's the story: About a year ago, my car was "hired" for the day for a TV commercial shoot. The commercial was supposed to be a promotional thing for MAACO/ Meineke in collaboration with the release of the last "Transformers" movie.
However, J.J. Abrams (edit... Not J.J. Abrams: Michael Bay... got my action movie producer/ directors mixed up) had to approve the final product, and he didn't like it. He canned the commercial, said he could do better. He commissioned another commercial, which is what made it to TV.
I figured that the footage shot that day would be 86d.
However... yesterday, I discovered that footage taken that day is now airing! There are a few different variations of commercials that use the footage, but there it is: My car! It only gets a couple of seconds in the link below, but this commercial is the only one that I was able to locate on YouTube... the other commercials (some of which include a few more seconds of the actor waxing the hood of my car) are on TV, but I can't find them on YouTube.
Anyhow... in the clip below, that yellow Camaro is mine!.
