Second off, Yes they can track you but only with your permission, that information also can not be used against you in a court of law without your permission.
Third off, the onstar guy that got busted was because he used his position to listen in on and RECORD incomming onstar calls (user dialed another number through the onstar feature). This is of course illegal since it breaks privacy laws (just like cell phone taps).

SECOND. No Not Paranoid, this was brought up on a local board I'm on awhile back. PLUS there WAS a bill introcued middle of last year to use the black boxes to enforce trafic laws..WHICH WAS BROUGHT UP BECAUSE OF THE ENTERPRISE RENTAL CAR lawsuit.in which enterprised fined a client for speeding in one of their rentals.

.The Bill Died..and the guy one the lawsuit.(big reason the BILL died).There is those laws you mentioned.
THIRD. WELL He did do it though right?? doesnt mean someone on a power trip/or bored couldnt do the same thing again.. THE POINT.. IT DID/COULD HAPPEN..
