Having spent a lot of time around this topic. (was a contracted in dealership trainer *on product not customer satisfaction) it is a hard topic to handle. The big issue across the board is "GM" builds and manufactures cars. They do not own dealerships or sell cars. I can honestly say from meetings and seeing the inside.... "GM" is on your side and has your thought process.

While I agree the dealerships have more to blame, why is it not at other brands? I’ve had amazing experiences at Subaru, Audi, Porsche, Honda, & Toyota. It’s only GM, Chevy in particular, that I’ve had these ridiculous incidents? The Chevy dealer that took advantage of my sister in particular irks me. I can more than handle myself. This last incident where they started playing games truly pisses me off. While GM probably could care less I bought a Honda, my father did ultimately buy a Buick. I still steer anyone I come in contact away from Chevy.
