Clean examples are almost all gone, I'd say figure out a way to keep if you can! All cars go through the high/low/high cycle. You bought it so even though it may not be collectible, it means something to you and they are fun cars to drive and/or mod (fix up with the kid?).
If it makes you dislike the car paying insurance and storage selling may be the right choice for you. It's your call to make.
