So, you were selling GM-owned logos without a license? Hopefully all you get is having to pay GM for your past sales. I've known people that went to jail for this. It doesn't matter if GM makes it or not...the logo is theirs and they will vehemently protect their investment.
I hope all the other vinyl dealers on this site learn from your hard lesson and get a license BEFORE they sell another GM logo as the punishments from GM prosecution can be very severe.
I saw a guy this past weekend that has started producing some GM stripes (albeit for different cars than designed), but I know that GM has his name and contact information...I wasn't the one who called GM, but I do know at least two people called GM's legal department the following Monday.
GM has quite a bit invested in their logos, just like Nascar or Nike...and they WILL prosecute and honestly should.
I'm not saying stickerwitch was selling substandard items, but there are vinyl vendors out there peddling crap stickers. Without licensing, GM can't control this and someone will end up blaming GM for the crap someone sold them.
Lesson for the day: Don't buy something WITHOUT seeing the producers license for the product.
