I believe voodoo engines aren't related to Coyote's engines, very different design. I used to track very hard my '11 Mustang GT 5.0 with 3.73 gear without a single malfunction or overheating at the track.

On other hand, during the first year of the new Shelby GT350 if it wasn't optioned with the track package wich included additional coolers, if the car's engine while tracking got damaged, there was no warranty covered by FOMOCO if the damage to the engine happened while tracking it (even in a ocassional event), there were several unhappy customers with this situation. Afterwards Ford on the following years included the trackpack on all their new Shelbys GT350s to prevent this issue.
