There's been a new video out from A2Speed's tuning shop showing a bone stock Dodge Demon gaining significant HP on purely Q16 racing fuel and a tune. The video I'm posting here shows first just a tune only on normal fuel, and then a tune only on 93 fuel.
Supposedly, that alone netted them 90hp and 40ftlbs of torque. They currently do not have a video of the Q16 run, but supposedly it had them at 874 HP at the wheels...which if you know the Demon's numbers, has 840 HP at the crank for it's racing fuel PCM.
That's roughly 151 hp difference with "just Q16 racing fuel and a tune".
Now, I love what Dodge has done with the Hellcats and the Demons in terms of power. I wish GM would do the same to an extent. That being said....this sounds like another round of that same nonsense from the Steeda group claiming 10's with "just a few mods" and come to find out there was ALOT more going on...
If I'm wrong here, I'll be happy to be wrong...but this just seems crazy bogus... Even the 840 HP number only picked up about 30hp with 100 octane, and that was again, at the crank...
