I am Po'd though. Next summer WMU gets a fully functioning (albeit retired) B727 from Fed Ex AFTER I graduate. Leaving the motors, avionics, systems.. everything intact and operational. It's grounded though, everything's past TBO and their expiration dates.
So a bunch of 18-20 year olds will be taxiing a 727 around KBTL.. watch out.
Lets hope they don't go and ruin this one like they did the Merlin and Sabreliner (sat out on the ramp in -2F all winter.. became basket cases that next spring.)
