What do you think about the changes?

If you do not know what I am talking about well, here goes.
Basically you have to have over 4000 hours of watch time and 1000 subscribers to be able to keep your partner account with YT. So if you do not meat the thresh hold, your account is terminated.


Well great.

I do monetize my videos. Over the years I have done it I have gotten a whopping $225. I do not do it for the money. I do it to try and help people even if it is just one. And I get messages telling me I am doing just that. But the money does help offset some of the expenses associated with doing the videos. Even if it is something as simple as getting a new mic for better audio. So now they are slamming the doors in the smaller channels faces. Saying you can do videos but we will no longer reward you for the hard work in doing them. They are going down that same road Gopro went down. not listening to what the buyers want or need. now they are all but bankrupt. YT which is owned by Google seem to think they are a monopoly. What we say goes. And I for one am getting kind of tired of it. I am not saying I will quit. but with a business model like thiers where the little guy does not count,,,,,is making me re-think about even doing any business with them at all.
