The NE defense looks suspect because for the regular season they were 29th in total yards allowed, 30th in passing yards allowed, and 20th in rushing yards allowed.
These stats have nothing to do with Tom Brady, he doesn't play defense. Your conjecture of my desire for Brady's demise is unfounded.
As far as regular season rankings, Brady did throw for the most yards (4577), followed by Phillip Rivers (4515), and Matthew Stafford (4446). Stafford's is the most impressive, as he did it without a running game, the Lions were dead last in the NFL in rushing yards (76.3 per game)
Going by the QB rating system, Alex Smith was first with a 104.7, Drew Brees second with a 103.9, and then Brady with a 102.8.
