Same issue (shudder) happened with my 2015 Sierra Denali. It had 17k miles when it showed up. Dealership did the flush and the shudder went away. I have serious concerns that it will show up again before I hit 35k miles. This issue has been present with the 8L90 transmission from the start. The flush method feels like a band-aid, and the TC replacement seems like an ace bandage. I'm seriously considering a Ford or Toyota for the first time in my life. The 8L90 has other issues as well, but most of those can be accommodated by changing your driving style.
Since this is a company-wide 8L90 transmission issue, I have doubts as to the ability of Al to do anything about it.
At lease the Camaros don't have the frame coating issues.
