I agree with Deacon Blues. Def sounds like some kind of exhaust valves. I'm happy I went with non npp and have afm off so I don't have these issues.

I hate these dipsticks. As far as I can tell, 10qt got mine to full. I had a 2013 Silverado and the required amount only got to 1/2 - 3/4. I wouldn't worry about it.

My 22 manual still says 5w30 dexos 1 is ok for street use. I believe the owners manual changed for 23 or 24 and says nothing about 5w30. Even if it doesn't, the LT1 original fill was 5w30 wasn't it?...

Great vid thanks for posting. All those lines from the transmission is one reason I wanted to get the LT1 model. One less thing to worry about. Also no NPP on the LT1 so there's no big loss in money...
