Have a 2012 SS w/ auto L99 engine. Was wondering what symptoms a restricted Clogged factory external oil cooler would have on operation and oli pressure? I seem to have good oil pressure...

Just reached 500 miles on the new engine.going to change the oil next week,along with a trip back to the installer. The oil that was used for the first 500 miles was dextros 5w30 synthetic.

Just a additional thought I had to my above response,. I dont beleive the oil cooler was changed when the engine was changed. Could a restricted/ clogged oil cooler cause that much of a oil pressure...

The engine that the shop replaced was a Jasper longblock. As far as oilpump brand/type I dont have that information. Im wondering if perhaps it maybe be a standard oilpump instead of a high volume...
