It will work but you will need the pinch weld lifting puck plus a couple more lifting pucks to get the car on and off the 12” cribs. I have that jack and with two pucks it is close on my 10” cribs.

Mine will come on without a card installed. Had the same black screen issue, unhooked neg battery terminal for 20 minutes and then it would turn on with no issues and no card inserted.
